This Master Class is intended for (Financial) Managers, business owners and trainers / advisors of medium-sized companies active in the livestock sector in emerging economies. These could be livestock production companies, food processors, feed companies and others active in the livestock input supply and services sector.



These training themes are included throughout this programme:

  • assess the current performance of a business in the livestock sector and determine the need and scope for improvements;
  • evaluate the financial and economic viability of investments in innovation and business developments;
  • adapt the business operations towards economic and financial optimisation;
  • prepare a bankable business proposal for attracting external funding.

  1. preparation and presentation of a bankable business proposal.
  2. assessing strength and weaknesses in the financial and operation performance of livestock sector companies;
  3. setting objectives for investments in innovations and business improvements;
  4. operational and resource planning;
  5. determining investment requirements and economic and financial feasibility (NPV, IRR, ROI);
