The Orange Knowledge Programme is a co-funding programme. This means that a contribution from the requesting organisation in the OKP Countrylist is compulsory for Lower Middle Income Countries and Upper Middle Income Countries (DAC list of ODA recipients). This means that the percentage of co-funding (on top of the amount requested from the Orange Knowledge Programme) is not the same for all countries, please consult the country focus information.
Nuffic has given priority to specific aereas/sectors per country. To find out which specific subjects are supported, click on this link. Here you will also find a list of strategic partners and organizations that are supported by Nuffic. An organisation in one of the Orange Knowledge Programme countries which has detected a training need for its staff directly approaches a Dutch training provider, such as Aeres Training Centre International. The two organisations formulate a training proposal together and submit it to Nuffic. Aeres Training Centre International can offer specific training, customized to the company's needs. Fill out a contact form or send a email to t.korevaar@aeres.nl or f.schaminee@aeres.nl for more information and specific details and suggestions.
For your proposal you will have to prepare three documents in the prescribed Nuffic formats: a joint proposal, a budget and a checklist organisational capacity assessment (Coca). Also CVs of all proposed resource persons are required, but not in a prescribed format.
The deadline for submission is 1 June 2018, 23.00 hrs Dutch time. Proposals do NOT have to be submitted to the embassies or consulates some time before the Nuffic deadline, as was the case in the past. Assessment of the joint proposals will be done by the Dutch embassy or consulate for the country (eligibility of the requesting organisation and fit with the country focus) and by Nuffic (co-funding and quality of the proposal). Both assessments take place after 1 June. By participating in the TMT programme a Dutch training provider agrees with the terms and conditions stated in the General conditions for group trainings: Tailor-Made Training (TMT)
