For two weeks employees from the Arabian Agricultural Services Company (ARASCO) followed a practical training on Broiler Farm Management, organized by Aeres Training Centre International in Barneveld.
The employees are from diverse positions within ARASCO, which is beneficial for the practical implication of the training programme back home. The participants learned about hatching management, housing & climate, feeding management, water quality, poultry health, post-mortem analysis, feed formulation till processing their own chicken.
Towards the end of the programme the participants already felt more “engaged” in the business processes of their colleagues says Ted Hilderink, programme manager ATCI. “And that is exactly the goal of this particular training programme; creating awareness and mutual understanding within companies for continuous improvement and future development.”
