Results

This programme teaches you how to identify opportunities, collaborate within a multi-disciplined team, and share your knowledge clearly about pig husbandry skills, technology, and the proper use of feed. Having completed these modules, you can put together clear reports and logical improvement plans for your local pig farmers. This programme also includes a module on compound feed production. You learn how to solve issues regarding the optimal use of locally available feedstuffs, and about the proper formulation and production of processed compound feeds that have the desired nutrient levels. You also learn more practical skills, including how to manage, plan, set up, and equip a mill for feed production.
