During the programme "International Pig Management", you learn how to manage or supervise pig production. From smaller back-yard systems to intensive, large-scale pig farm set ups. You also learn how to appreciate local pig farmers and see how their knowledge, experience, and practices contribute to creating sustainable production concepts and methods. At the end of this program, you can identify opportunities, collaborate within a multi-disciplined team, and share your knowledge clearly about pig husbandry skills and technology. You also feel confident putting together clear reports and logical improvement plans for the pig farmers you work with back home.
